As Halloween fades into memory, thoughts turn towards the upcoming holiday season, especially at Disneyland Resort, where the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year” will be celebrated from November 10 to January 7, 2024. If you’re planning a holiday visit (and we hope you stay with us here at Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground), here’s what awaits you at “The Happiest Place on Earth” in November and December.

At Disney California Adventure Park, returning for its tenth season at Paradise Gardens is Disney ¡Viva Navidad! This celebration offers a vibrant atmosphere where guests can join a street party featuring Mexican folklórico dancers, mariachis, Brazilian samba performers, and giant mojiganga puppets, all hosted by Donald Duck, Panchito, and Jose Carioca (the three leads of the classic 1945 Walt Disney film “The Three Caballeros”). Mickey and Minnie Mouse, adorned in seasonal festive attire, also star in the fun. Additionally, look out for Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ hit film “Encanto.”

The Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney’s California Adventure showcases a blend of Christmas, Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day celebrations. The popular festival offers delectable holiday treats at the Disney Festival of Holidays marketplaces. Guests can opt for the Sip and Savor Pass, which offers eight sample-size treats from various park booths. A detailed menu of holiday delights can be found HERE. As night falls, park guests will be enchanted by the “World of Color – Season of Light,” which illuminates the skies.

At Disneyland, guests will be enchanted by “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” and the captivating “Believe… in Holiday Magic” fireworks show on select nights. For an extra dose of holiday magic, opt for the Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour, which includes a reserved viewing of “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” at Disneyland. Santa Claus himself will be spreading cheer throughout the resort until Christmas Eve.

Fans of the Haunted Mansion attraction are in for a spooky treat this holiday season. Jack Skellington, Sally, Zero, and Oogie Boogie have again taken up residence in the Haunted Mansion Holiday, delighting visitors in New Orleans Square. Also, the delightful “it’s a small world Holiday” in Fantasyland is a Christmas time highlight.

All that and so much more await you during the holidays at Disneyland Resort. Again, if you’re heading to Anaheim during the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” we hope you’re planning a holiday visit with us here at Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground.
