We take our October festivities and spooky traditions seriously in Anaheim, especially at Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground. Aside from the spectacular Halloween-themed events of our nearby world-renowned destinations of Disneyland ResortKnott’s Berry Farm, and Universal Studios Hollywood, there are a few more homespun ghoulish delights awaiting our hotel guests.

Saturday, October 28, is the 100th Anaheim Fall Festival featuring the Anaheim Halloween Parade (which itself turns 100 in 2024). It’s a full day of autumn and Halloween fun. Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel is particularly proud to sponsor the vintage-inspired “Rocket Witch” float in the evening parade. The Anaheim Transit Network (ATN) will provide free bus service for our guests from the Anaheim Resort District to downtown Anaheim throughout the day to the daytime festival and evening parade.

On Halloween night (Tuesday, October 31, 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.), Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground join many other fine hotels within the Anaheim Resort District to present “Harbor Walk Hotels Present a Halloween Trick or Treat.” Presented exclusively for guests staying at one of the designated hotels between Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and the Castle Inn and Suites, it’s door-to-door neighborhood trick-or-treating filled with Halloween treats and sweets (and don’t forget your costumes for Halloween). Trick-or-treaters from all participating hotels are welcome!

Additionally, on October 31, and only at Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel, guests can pose with our fanciful “Rocket Witch” float from the Anaheim Halloween Parade. So, book a stay in the Anaheim Resort District and join us for an afternoon and evening of Halloween costumes, candy, and spooky fun. See you on October 31!
