IN THE SPOTLIGHT: DISNEY’S PHOTOPASS
If you're tired of not being in your vacation pictures with your family or if you happen to forget to bring the camera, Disney's PhotoPass service is a great help. You can get your pictures taken by professionals, and their cameras are better than your smartphone! Although if you ask nicely they will take a picture using your phone too! 🙂 PhotoPass photographers eliminate the need for asking strangers to take your picture, and they don't mind (too much) if you ask them to take multiple shots. How does this all work? I'm glad you asked! You can ask for a PhotoPass card from any of the Disneyland Photographers scattered around both parks. Once you get your card, it might be a good idea to take a picture of the back of the card with your phone just in case it gets lost. Then, just simply hand the photographer your card and strike a pose! The service is free and you can take as many pictures as you'd like. Photographers are located at most major attractions and "photo op" spots, as well as character meet-and-greets. They will all have PhotoPass Vests, but not all will look as cool as our photographer: Once you get back to our hotel after a long day, You can connect to our free Wi-fi then log on to Disney's PhotoPass website. From there you can view your pictures and order prints. The pictures stay on the website for up to 30 days, so the best thing to do is to get a multi-day pass to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure and take as many pictures as you possibly can. At the end of your trip, just order the Photopass CD which will have all your pictures on it for one price, then you can print them from home!
