I got to attend my very first Dapper Day meet-up at the parks a couple of weeks ago, and I already can’t wait for the next time! What is Dapper Day, you ask? Its an unofficial Disney-fan event, where anyone and everyone interested can show up to the parks dressed up to the nines. Just like how it used to be when the park first opened! Back then, attending a theme park was considered a big event and something worthy of dressing up for. The mood of the park was more pleasant than usual, greeting strangers with a tip of the hat or a simple smile, just because they were dressed up as well. I hope they continue this tradition for a long time.
Here are some of the pictures I took that night. Hopefully you can join us next time Dapper Day comes around in February 2013!
If you’ve ever stayed with us, you might recognize some of these faces, since we all work at our beloved Howard Johnson Hotel & Water Playground! Although we might not look as dapper as we did in this picture! 😉

Here are some pictures of a few “Dappers” we met up with:
Most creative outfit has to go to Steve M. This picture says it all!
We spent the majority of the night just taking pictures of ourselves just because everyone looked so stylish!
I did manage to get on one ride though, and yes we all posed for the picture right before being dropped into the Twilight Zone!
See you next time!
